Opt-in subscription management

This component empowers users to effectively manage their newsletter subscriptions. It provides tools to view and organize opt-in subscribers, create and edit customizable subscription forms, and manage form fields such as email, name, and preferences. Ideal for maintaining a compliant and user-friendly subscription process.

To open the JungleMail Subscriber configuration, open JungleMail Settings > Subscriber Management 

From there, choose the JungleMail Subscribers as the source type:


Contacts

In the contacts section you can see and search through all of your subscribers. Additional data is also displayed from the form submissions.


Fields

In the Fields tab you can add form fields for data collection. Click the Add field button to get started.

Type: Indicates the type of the form field. Form field type cannot be changed later

Title: Field title visible for subscribers in forms

Merge tag: Used in newsletter templates to insert data about the subscriber in to the newsletter email. Learn more how to use Merge Tags.

Description: Description visible below the field in the form.

Default value: Value that is pre-filled in the field automatically.

Placeholder text: Suggestion text for subscribers that is shown in italics in the form input field.

Hidden: If checked, the field will not be shown to subscribers.

Required: If checked, the field will be mandatory to fill out for the subscriber.

Show in list: If checked, the field value will be shown in the Contacts subscriber management page


Forms

On the Forms page you can modify the look and feel of subscription and subscription preference modification forms. Subscription form can also be embedded on a page or your intranet.

To do this, set the Allow embedding forms in sites to Yes and copy the form HTML.

You can modify the Page background and Form background colors for each form, and change the form texts:


Email Template

You can edit the sender of the system messages and edit the system message templates.

System messages can be sent using your regular Sending Accounts

Email templates can be edited using the regular JungleMail Drag & Drop builder:
