Using preheaders

In JungleMail for Office 365 you can use preheaders to make sure your email receives more opens. A preheader is the small bit of text a user can already see of an email before opening it in his inbox. In this tutorial,  you will learn how to add preheaders to your newsletter campaigns.

To add a preheader to your campaign, simply open JungleMail 365 and start building a new campaign.

In the Content step of building your campaign, click on Body in the panel on the right to open the Email Settings. Here you will be able to add your preheader.

Example of a good preheader

A good preheader invites the reader to click on the email and to read on. You could achieve this, for example, by directly addressing the recipient by adding a placeholder for their first name.

Example of a bad preheader

If you don't add a preheader text, the recipient will just see the first couple of lines of the email. This might be an introduction, but could also be the date or an image URL. In this way, a recipient will not be prompted to open the email.
