Newsletter surveys

In this JungleMail for Office 365 tutorial, you will learn how to use the Suvey feature to boost engagement in your newsletters.

Survey configuration on a Section

You can convert an entire section in JungleMail 365 and turn it into a Survey. To do that, select a section that you want to convert, and navigate to the SURVEY tab on the right menu. In there, Set the Enable custom survey layout slider to ON.

Each of the configuration options are described below:

Title/Group: Title of the survey that will be visible in the analytics, it will not be visible to the recipient. You can use the same Survey title on multiple sections where surveys are enabled. If the type of these surveys is the same (voting on images, voting on buttons, etc.) , results of these surveys will be merged in the analytics.

Select voting design. This setting controls which type of blocks the recipient can interact with to participate in the survey. You can click the Generate Example button to create an example layout of the selected voting design. You can add customizations to the voting design such as spacers, dividers, text, etc.

Allow Comments: controls if the recipients can leave a comment together with their vote.

Allow to change response: controls if recipients can change their vote by clicking on another image or link in the survey.

Set expiration date: specifies the date and time until recipients can vote for options in this survey.

Survey configuration using a Block

You can also configure a survey using the Survey block. The configuration options are described below.

Icon set: Choose the icon set you want to use for this survey. Each icon will be a separate survey option for the recipient to click.

Survey title: Title of the survey that will be visible in the analytics, it will not be visible to the recipient.

Allow Comments: controls if the recipients can leave a comment together with their vote.

Allow to change response: controls if recipients can change their vote by clicking on another image or link in the survey.

Show labels below the icons: Add a description below each icon.

Survey Analytics and Results

To find out your recipients' opinion on the survey questions, you can check out the Surveys tab in your newsletter analytics page. Each survey will have a separate section of the page with the summary, comments and the response numbers highlighted.
